Gennady Feldman came up with the Win32Pad application for programmers who need a properly good text editor by their side. So if you find that Microsoft Notepad application is just not enough and you need something a bit better, you should give Win32Pad a try. You will find that the text editor has quite a lot to offer.

The Win32Pad installation file is a very lightweight 71.5Kb in size; even on a lousy internet connection, the download will complete in a blink. Run this file and you will be presented with a setup wizard that asks you to choose between a Custom, Minimal, and Full installation. The recommended Full Installation includes Win32Pad core files, shortcuts, association with TXT files, add to SendTo items, view source editor in IE.
It must be mentioned here that Win32Pad is also available as a portable version. Download a 38KB archive, extract its contents, run the Win32Pad executable and you’ll start using the application.
